Advanced Settings.

Lūpa features an intuitive system to change settings of your player. Just fill out the form below with the settings you want, download your customised settings file, and then drop it onto your USB drive with your video.

When you plug your USB into Lūpa, your player will read your new settings, apply them automatically, and restart your player with the new settings applied. The intelligent onscreen display will let you know what's going on.

When you no longer need the advanced settings simply delete the file off your USB drive. The next time Lūpa boots, it will detect that the advanced settings file is no longer present, apply the default settings and restart. 2

Audio Volume

You can adjust the volume of the audio that comes out of the headphone jack. By default, Lūpa plays audio back at the maximum volume it is able to.
If you would like to lower the volume use this setting.

Video Settings

What input type are you using?

HDMI Resolution

Here you can adjust the resolution that is outputted via HDMI. Default is 1080p @ 60hz.

Composite Settings

You can turn on the analogue port for standard definition video playback with a compatible cable. Please see the AV Port section in the hardware section of Lūpa help website. You can select PAL or NTSC video standards, as well as 16:9 widescreen or 4:3 square aspect ratio.

Overscan Settings

You can adjust your overscan settings below. The numbers are in pixels.

If you need help deciding how much you need to underscan, download our overscan calibration image, put it on a USB drive and pop it into your Lūpa’s LOOP port. The image will display on your screen showing you how much your display device is overscanning. Calculate the amount of pixels you need to adjust by, and add those numbers below.

Voltage Indicator

Please use this setting to troubleshoot any power issues. The voltage warning symbol (a yellow lighting bolt) will become visible in the top right hand corner of your screen if your particular setup is not receiving enough power. See the hardware section of Lūpa's help website.
